  Sprouted Almond Apple Honey Cake
Honey 4 lb. 6 oz.
Shortening, room temperature 1 lb. 10 oz.
Mix at 2nd speed of 3-speed mixer until well blended.
Whole eggs 2
Add. Mix at 2nd speed until blended.
Flour 5 lb. 4 oz
Salt 1 oz.
Baking soda 3 oz.
Nutmeg 1/3 oz
Cinnamon 1 oz
Sift together. Add to above. Mix at 1 st speed until blended.
Apples, peeled, diced 6 lb. 4 oz.
Sprouted Almonds. chopped 2 lb. 4 oz.
Add, mix at 1 st speed just until incorporated, about 2 minutes.
TOPPING
Margarine 1 lb.
Honey 1 lb. 6 oz.
Chopped Sprouted Almonds, for garnish
Combine margarine and honey in saucepan. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat.
Instructions: Deposit batter into 9-x13-x2-in. parchment-lined cake pans or pound cake pans. Bake at 350F until center is solid, about 40 minutes. Poke holes into cake tops with fork. Brush with topping; garnish with chopped Sprouted Almond pieces. Yields 17 1-lb. cakes.
 
Sprouted Almond Tuna Salad

4 frozen Sara Lee Croissants
1 can (7 oz.) waterpack tuna, drained
3 tablespoons chopped, Sprouted Almonds
1 green onion, sliced
1/3 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
Lettuce leaves
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced
Alfalfa sprouts
Cut frozen croissants in half lengthwise; leave together. Heat frozen croissants on ungreased baking sheet in preheated 325F. oven 9-11 minutes. Stir together tuna, chopped Sprouted Almonds, onion and salad dressing. Line each croissant bottom half with lettuce. Top with 1/4 cup tuna mixture, egg slices and alfalfa sprouts. Replace croissant tops. Serve. Makes 4 servings.

  Sprouted Almond Applesauce Bread
Flour 1 lb. 4 oz.
Sugar 11 oz.
Baking powder 2 Tbsp.
Salt 2 tsp.
Baking soda 1 tsp.
Cinnamon 1 tsp.
Sprouted Almonds, chopped 1 lb.
Combine in mixer bowl.
Eggs, beaten 3-1/3 oz.
Applesauce 1 lb.
Butter, melted 2 oz.
Combine; add to flour mixture. Mix at 1 st speed of 3-speed mixer just until blended.
Instructions: Pour into greased 16-x-5-x-4-in. Ioaf pan. Bake at 350F for about 50 minutes or until bread tests done. Yields about 32 slices.
Note: Vegetable oil can be substituted for melted butter.

  Sprouted Almond Toffee Squares
1 (10 3/4 oz.) Sara Lee Pound Cake, frozen
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped Sprouted Almonds
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350?F.
Cut Pound Cake vertically into 10 equal-size slices. Arrange cake slices on a broiler rack; broil, 8-10 inches from heat source, until lightly browned on each side. Or, toast cake slices in a toaster oven until lightly browned.
Combine butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan; stir over moderate heat for 3 minutes. Arrange cake slices on an ungreased baking sheet. Spoon half the brown sugar mixture over cake slices, dividing evenly. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips, Sprouted Almonds, and remaining brown sugar mixture over cake slices; return to oven and bake 10-15 minutes until chocolate melts. Remove from oven and spread melted chocolate evenly over slices. Cut each slice in half and allow to cool. 20 squares
 
Soft Chocolate Chip Sprouted Almond Cookies
Margarine 2 lb.
Sugar 7 oz.
Brown sugar 1 lb.
Salt 1/3 oz.
Combine. Mix at 3rd speed of 3-speed mixer for 2 minutes.
Liquid whole eggs 6 oz.
Vanilla extract 1/2 oz.
High fructose corn syrup 5 oz.
Combine; add. Mix at 2nd speed for 2 minutes.
Cookie flour 9 oz.
Cake flour 1 lb. 10 oz.
Baking soda 1/3
Combine; add. Mix at 1 st speed for 2 minutes.
Semisweet chocolate chips 6 oz.
Sprouted Almonds, chopped 1 lb. 2 oz.
Add. Mix at 1st speed just until incorporated.
Instructions: Deposit about 1 oz. portions of dough on parchmentlined sheet pans. Bake at 380_F for about 12 minutes. Yields about 10 dozen cookies.

Balanced body chemistry is of utmost importance for the maintenance of health and correction of disease. Acidosis, or over-acidity in the body tissues, is one of the basic causes of many diseases, especially the arthritic and rheumatic diseases. All Sprouted Almonds. "Sprouted Almonds" The Original Sprouted Almonds. All oods are "burned" in the body--more commonly called "digested"-- leaving an ash as the result of the "burning", or the digestion. This food ash can be neutral, acid or alkaline, depending largely on the mineral composition of the foods. Sprouted Almonds. "Sprouted Almonds" The Original Sprouted Almonds. Some foods leave an acid residue or ash, some alkaline. The acid ash (acidosis) results when there is a depletion of the alkali reserve or the diminution in the reserve supply of fixed bases in the blood and the tissues of the body.
